THE DOCTRINE OF ETERNAL SECURITY

AM I SAFE IN THE LORD?

The question of security in the Lord is one of the most frequently asked questions in Christianity. Is the believer SAFE AND SECURE IN THE LORD? Can a person lose their salvation, once they have it? What about all the warnings of the Lord? This aspect of the Christian faith has been argued over for years. The group who believes steadfastly in ETERNAL SECURITY is known as Calvinists, after John Calvin who promoted the concept. On the other side of the argument, those who believe that there is no eternal security whatsoever, but that it is contingent upon the believer’s continued commitment follow Arminianism, after Arminius, who advanced that concept in the late 1500s and early 1600s. Each calls the other’s concept a ‘THEORY’. I will again say that Christ put the doctrines of salvation in such simple terms, and in so many ways that the REAL SEEKER CANNOT, CANNOT MISINTERPRET WHAT IT SAYS. It is a cop-out to claim “that is your interpretation” or, “what an interesting THEORY”. It is the cop-out that damns millions of souls to eternal ruin.

From these two camps flowed two branches of Methodists, one, George Whitefield, who was a Calvinist, and John Wesley who was an Arminian Methodist. In point of fact BOTH CAMPS ARE WRONG, YET BOTH CAMPS ARE RIGHT. This is true because it was in this era that THE MODERN FAITH ONLY MOVEMENT BEGAN. To begin with, the Bible does NOT EVER CONTRADICT ITSELF. If you find a contradiction, it is because you have not dug deep enough to resolve it. Both camps deny UTTERLY DIVINE REVELATION OR MANIFESTING OF CHRIST. The concept of DIVINE REVELATION is limited to Scripture itself. THE BIBLE IS THE DIVINE REVELATION. It alone, with nothing else constitutes DIVINE REVELATION. The words, “know”, “known”, “see”, “reveal”, “manifest”, are simply different words to describe how the Holy Spirit ILLUMINATES THE MIND.

The definitions are changed to fit the theology of the day. We have proved all of this to be true, which is why the many Christians are sent away into eternal ruin. If you deny the aspect that THE DIVINE REVELATION OF THE BIBLE, WHICH IN ITSELF SAYS THERE IS TO BE A DIVINE REVELATION OF THE PERSON OF CHRIST TO THE BELIEVER, then you have created for yourselves a big problem in the eternal security aspect. This is true because IF YOU CLAIM CONVERSION AND REGENERATION ARE THE SAME THING, AND ARE INSTANT, AND OCCUR AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR WALK WITH CHRIST, THEN THERE IS NO WAY TO RESOLVE TWO ABSOLUTELY OPPOSING DOCTRINES, which is why they argue with each other on a continuous basis:

Conversion and regeneration are taught as occurring at the same time. The believer then is to walk his walk IN UNION WITH CHRIST from the beginning forward. We then add in two opposing doctrines that are to apply during this so-called “walk with Christ”. It is NOT POSSIBLE. You cannot have two UTTERLY OPPOSING DOCTRINES TRUE AT THE SAME TIME. Either one is true and the other is false, or they ARE BOTH TRUE, BUT ARE APPLICABLE AT DIFFERENT POINTS IN A PROGRESSIVE WALK.

The doctrine of IMMINENCE is a good example of this confusion of modern Christian theology. It says that Christ can come back AT ANY TIME TO BEGIN THE SECOND ADVENT PROCESS. Various and sundry verses of Scripture are advanced to prove it be true. Utterly opposed to the doctrine of imminence are hundreds of verses of PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE THAT MUST FIRST BE FULFILLED. The two concepts are OPPOSED. Imminence as taught today is an utterly false doctrine, for the verses used have nothing to do with the SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST TO EARTH, but instead apply to CHRIST COMING TO THE BELIEVER. The believer will never know when Christ will come. He will SUDDENLY and WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER SHOW UP. Of the many people interviewed in research for this book, NOT ONE HAD THE FAINTEST NOTION PRIOR TO HIS COMING, THAT HE WOULD BE THERE. There was NO WARNING. He just INSTANTLY ARRIVES.

If you take those PERSONAL ADVENT VERSES, and twist them into SECOND ADVENT VERSES, then you arrive at a severe CONTRADICTION TO BIBLICAL PROPHECY. Biblical prophecy PROVES CATEGORICALLY that Christ is going to return to earth at a PREDETERMINED POINT OF TIME. It is absolutely contingent upon many things being fulfilled on earth prior to His return. Paul is very specific, as is Christ. The true believer, the authentic regenerated believer can figure out when that is, and the verses used to disprove that concept actually PROVE IT TO BE TRUE. You cannot have TWO OPPOSING CONCEPTS. They are BOTH CORRECT, BUT APPLY TO TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

The doctrine of eternal security can be absolutely and categorically proven. Therefore John Calvin is CORRECT. He is correct 100%. What about all the warnings we can also PROVE CATEGORICALLY WHICH CLAIM ONE CAN BE A BELIEVER AND NOT GET TO HEAVEN? We have shown you most of these throughout the book. They can also be PROVEN CATEGORICALLY CORRECT. We then have TWO OPPOSING DOCTRINES, EACH TOTALLY OPPOSED THAT CAN BE PROVEN. How do you resolve that?

It proves first of all THAT THERE IS A JOURNEY, A ROAD, A PATHWAY, A NARROW WAY THAT A BELIEVER IS TO WALK. There is a POINT, A FIXED POINT.

A “FINDING”,

IN WHICH THE BELIEVER CROSSES OVER (FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE) THAT UNALTERABLY CHANGES HIS POSITION BEFORE CHRIST DRAMATICALLY. On one side of the believer’s walk, ARMINIANISM IS CORRECT, AND ON THE OTHER SIDE, THE CALVINISTIC DOCTRINE IS TRUE. I will prove to you beyond all doubt that Arminianism is correct PRIOR TO UNION WITH CHRIST, and that Calvinism is correct AFTER UNION WITH CHRIST (on the issue of eternal security).

Union with the LIVING CHRIST that is KNOWING CHRIST EXPERIENTIALLY is the crossover point. Regeneration and the bestowment of agape love IS the crossover point. The Scriptures CATEGORICALLY PROVE IT. If there were a more powerful word I would use it. We will first examine the issue of ABSOLUTE ETERNAL SECURITY, and then we will take up the other verse which oppose it, and prove BOTH ARE TRUE, BOTH FIT IN THE WALK OF THE TRUE CHRISTIAN.

The believer has now walked the narrow way, undergone experiential soul death, has had the revelation of and has accepted agape love, and has had it bestowed. It is imperative to understand that it is THE SPIRIT that is regenerated and resurrected to a new life, not the soul man, sense man. That part of man still has the knowledge of good and evil, and that is referred to as the OLD MAN. Because Christ only takes up residence in the very center of man, in the inner heart, the agape love presence is referred to as the ‘seed’ of Christ:

“WHOSOEVER IS

BORN OF GOD

DOTH NOT COMMIT SIN;

FOR HIS (CHRIST’S) SEED REMAINETH IN HIM:

AND HE CANNOT SIN, BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF GOD.”

(1 John 3:9)

This is a very important verse for us, because it begins to lay the groundwork for the concept of ETERNAL SECURITY IN JESUS CHRIST. There are many aspects to this doctrine, including the nature of agape love, the doctrine of pure grace, the power of Christ, the nature of regeneration itself, the words of Christ Himself, and the depravity of man. This verse says that WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD. That is THE CONDITION. In other words, ONLY THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF GOD. Thus we can say, ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WALKED THE NARROW WAY UNTO DEATH, AND WHO MET CHRIST, HAD THE AGAPE LOVE ISSUE SETTLED, AND HAVE ALLOWED CHRIST TO ENTER THEIR INNER HEARTS.

This verse is directed ONLY AT THEM. It is an IMPERATIVE CONDITION. The word for “born” here is ‘genneo’, which means REGENERATED, PROCREATED, BROUGHT FORTH. Whosoever is regenerated OF GOD. He does not commit sin. The Greek structure would be more accurately translated, does not HABITUALLY commit sin. Why? Because the SEED OF CHRIST remains in the believer. This is a crucial statement. The seed of Christ is of course THE NEW HEART OF AGAPE LOVE. Once a believer is GRANTED A NEW HEART, AND IS BESTOWED AGAPE LOVE, IT “REMAINETH”. The word “remaineth” is ‘meno’. It means CONTINUES, ABIDES, ENDURES, DWELLS, TARRIES. In other words, IT STAYS. It does not, nor can it leave. IT IS PERMANENT. It is steadfast. We will prove this later.

The regenerated believer CANNOT RESIDE IN SIN. The reason why an authentic regenerated believer cannot abide in sin is because of the agape love nature WITHIN. It does not allow he/she to continue in a known area of sin, or an area that God considers sin, which the believer might not realize, is sin. It goes back to Ezekiel 36:27.

“And I will PUT MY SPIRIT (AGAPE LOVE) WITHIN YOU,

AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES,

AND YE SHALL KEEP MY JUDGMENTS,

AND DO THEM.”

(Ezekiel 36:27)

If we read this carefully, it fully confirms John. God says that He Himself puts the SPIRIT OF AGAPE LOVE within the believer. The word “put” is ‘nathan’, which means TO GIVE OR TO BESTOW. This confirms 1 John 3:1, and is a companion verse. The word “spirit” is ‘ruwach’, which means LIFE, BREATH, WIND. Now you know why Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit as like the wind. The word “within” is ‘qereb’, which means THE CENTER, THE INNER PART, THE INWARD PARTS. It verifies totally that it is THE INNER HEART, THE INNER LEB OF ‘LEB, LEB’, which GOD DEALS WITH. Once that SPIRIT has been placed within, once the NEW HEART has been created within, what happens?

God Himself causes the believer to WALK IN HIS LAW OF AGAPE LOVE. It does not say anywhere that the believer DOES IT BY HIS OWN EFFORT. It is GOD HIMSELF THAT DOES IT. The words “cause you walk” comes from the word ‘yalak’, which means TO WALK, TO CARRY, TO BEAR, TO FOLLOW, TO CAUSE TO MAKE. In other words, it is AGAPE LOVE ITSELF THAT CAUSES THE BELIEVER TO DO RIGHT, TO THINK RIGHT, TO ACT RIGHT. It has little to do with the believer, for it is all done BY THE POWER OF GOD, THE POWER OF CHRIST.

It is all done FROM WITHIN, BY AN INWARD FORCE, AN INWARD GUIDANCE SYSTEM. Do birds need road maps when they migrate? Do they stop in at Super America and ask directions? THEY HAVE AN INNER GUIDANCE SYSTEM THAT CAUSES THEM TO GO WHERE THEY ARE TO GO. Likewise with agape love within. It has nothing to do with the believer, for the force of God is more powerful than the believer, for GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU (IF INDEED CHRIST IS IN YOU) THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. The believer can fight all he/she wants, BUT WILL NOT PREVAIL, BECAUSE GOD IS THE MORE POWERFUL. A real believer has this force inside that CAUSES the believer to do right. He may not want to, he may argue, fight, kick, refuse, for the OLD NATURE IS STILL WITHIN, WHICH IS FLESH. THUS IT IS THAT THE FLESH LUSTS AFTER THE SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT LUSTS AFTER THE FLESH. THERE IS WARFARE IN THE REAL REGENERATED BELIEVER. BUT THE FORCE OF GOD WILL BRING HIM DOWN, AND MAKE HIM DO WHAT GOD SAYS IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. To say otherwise is to really slam God and His ability. He reconfirms it so that you do not mistake what He means.

He says, “ye shall keep my judgments”. The word for “keep” is ‘shamar’, which means TO GUARD, TO HEDGE ABOUT, TO PRESERVE, TO KEEP. If God is the force of spirit behind the believer, then IT IS GOD HIMSELF THAT KEEPS THE STATUTES, BECAUSE IT IS GOD THAT CAUSES THEM TO WALK IN HIS LAW THROUGH THE AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT. He cannot deny Himself, nor will He. The new heart of agape love is THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE UNIVERSE. Nothing can prevail against it, nothing can actually stop what it intends to do. Who shall stop God? Who shall annul what He has proposed? Again, we do not understand SOVEREIGNTY. We are dealing with God, not the will of some puny believer!

“And as for me, THOU UPHOLDEST ME IN MINE INTEGRITY,

AND SETTEST ME BEFORE THY FACE FOR EVER.”

(Psalm 41:12)

Who is doing the HOLDING? God Himself. It is not the believer, but the power of God. The power of God “upholdest” him. The word is ‘tamak’, which means TO KEEP FAST, TO SUSTAIN, TO MAINTAIN, TO RETAIN.

“BUT THE LORD IS FAITHFUL,

WHO SHALL STABLISH YOU,

AND KEEP YOU FROM EVIL.”

(2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Again we find evidence to prove that IT IS CHRIST WHO ESTABLISHES AND KEEPS THE OVERCOMER, THE REGENERATE. The word “stablish” is ‘sterizo’, which means TO SET FAST, TO CONFIRM, TO FIX, TO FASTEN, TO STEADFASTLY SET OR ESTABLISH. The word “keep” is ‘phulasso’, which means TO PRESERVE, TO BE ON GUARD, TO SAVE. It is the LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT DOES ALL OF THIS.

“NOW UNTO HIM

THAT IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING,

AND TO PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS BEFORE

THE PRESENCE OF HIS GLORY WITH EXCEEDING JOY,

TO THE ONLY WISE GOD OUR SAVIOUR,

BE GLORY AND MAJESTY, DOMINION AND POWER,

BOTH NEW AND EVER. AMEN.”

(Jude 24)

Here is total confirmation of the fact that IT IS CHRIST THAT DOES THE KEEPING. The word for “falling” is ‘aptaistos’, which means TO BE WITHOUT SIN, NOT STUMBLING. The word for “faultless” is ‘amomos’, which means UNBLEMISHED, WITHOUT BLAME, BLAMELESS. There is great impact here, for IT IS THE PERFECTION OF CHRIST BESTOWED UPON THE BELIEVER THAT KEEPS HIM FAULTLESS AND PERFECT. It is God who is able to accomplish this, NOT THE BELIEVER. If it is God who does all of this, then HOW CAN THE BELIEVER BE REMOVED FROM GOD’S POWER? Who is able?

“BEING CONFIDENT OF THIS VERY THING,

THAT HE WHICH HATH BEGUN A GOOD WORK IN YOU

WILL PERFORM IT UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST.”

(Philippians 1:6)

Who is doing this good work? Who is ABLE TO PERFORM IT? We are to BE CONFIDENT IN IT, CONFIDENT IN THE POWER AND THE ABILITY TO DO HIS WORK. Either He can do it, and WILL DO IT, or Christ is a liar of the first magnitude. It is the classic case of either or. The Old Testament fully agrees:

“HE KEEPETH THE PATHS OF JUDGMENT,

AND PRESERVETH THE WAY OF HIS SAINTS.”

(Proverbs 2:8)

The Lord SHALL PRESERVE THEE FROM ALL EVIL:

HE SHALL PRESERVE THY SOUL.

THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE THY GOING OUT

AND THY COMING IN FROM THIS TIME FORTH,

AND EVEN FOR EVERMORE.”

(Psalm 121:7-8)

This agrees totally with the New Testament research we have done. IT IS THE LORD THAT KEEPS, PRESERVES, PROTECTS. The OVERCOMER, the REGENERATE ones have UTTER AND COMPLETE PROTECTION, THEY ARE SAFE FOREVER MORE. It has a companion verse in John 10:

“I AM THE DOOR:

BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTER IN,

HE SHALL BE SAVED,

AND SHALL GO IN AND OUT,

AND FIND PASTURE.”

(John 10:9)

If we walk the narrow way to death and find Christ, WE THEN ENTER INTO THE NEW COVENANT. Jesus says HE SHALL BE SAVED. He does not say MIGHT BE, COULD BE, PERHAPS OR MAYBE. He says flatly SHALL BE SAVED, and shall GO IN AND OUT, AND FIND PASTURE. The agape love question WAS FOREVER SETTLED WHEN THE BELIEVER FOUND THE LIVING CHRIST AT THE END OF THE NARROW WAY.

“Whosoever SHALL SEEK TO SAVE HIS LIFE

SHALL LOSE IT;

AND WHOSOEVER SHALL LOSE HIS LIFE

SHALL PRESERVE IT.”

(Luke 17:33)

The word for “preserve” here is ‘zoogoneo’, which means TO RESCUE, BE SAVED, TO KEEP, OR TO PROTECT FROM LOSS.

“AND THE LORD SHALL DELIVER ME FROM EVERY EVIL WORK,

AND WILL PRESERVE ME UNTO HIS HEAVENLY

KINGDOM:

TO WHOM BE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVER. AMEN.”

(2 Timothy 4:18)

Total confirmation again. IT IS THE LORD THAT DOES IT ALL FOR US. HE PRESERVES AND PROTECTS ALL THE WAY THROUGH IF WE BE OVERCOMERS, IF WE BE REGENERATED.

It is difficult for us to grasp the essential facts of GRACE, MERCY, POWER. The believer is a sinner. He will always be a sinner. He was destitute of good before God called, during his/her walk, at regeneration and beyond to the end. A SINNER IS A SINNER IS A SINNER. That is why GRACE IS GRACE. Regeneration has nothing to do with changing the SIN NATURE ITSELF, WHICH IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL. The method God is using for redemption does not include THE FLESH, OR CARNAL MAN, SENSE MAN, SOUL MAN. God does not tamper with this evil knowledge, which is SIN. It cannot help but be sin, it is HOSTILE TO GOD AT ALL TIMES. That is why FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT eternal life. There has to be a change.

It might help to review slightly here to clarify this. The old sin nature, the knowledge of good and evil remains in the flesh mind, soul mind, or carnal mind. When the body is resurrected to inherit eternal life, THAT PORTION OF THE MIND IS ALTERED, AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL IS ERADICATED. We are, at the resurrection and rapture, REMOVED FROM THIS EVIL PRESENCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, IF WE BE REGENERATED. The evil side of all of our knowledge is simply REMOVED, and we become as Adam or Eve at the original creation.

On the other hand, if we are not REGENERATED, the very presence of God is removed. The good side of the knowledge of good and evil is removed, and all that is left is the EVIL SIDE OF OUR NATURES. The second death is the complete and total REMOVAL OF ALL ASPECTS OF GOD FROM THE SOUL. He then goes into a state of eternal ANGER, HATRED, AND BURNING, which is why Jesus told us that if we got ANGRY AT SOMEONE AND CALLED THEM A FOOL, WE WERE DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO HELLFIRE. He was referring to the WHITE HOT ANGER WITHIN THE SOUL THAT HATES. That anger, that hostility, that very hot spiritual BURNING WITHIN will burst through and CONSUME the Christ rejecters and the ‘many’ who refused to comply with the demands of the narrow way.

This anger, this white hot fierce burning will be unchecked, for there is no force of good to contain it, to hold it back. It will break forth in full fury and hatred, unlike anything the human race has ever witnessed in this life. THIS UNCHECKED HATRED AND ANGER IS AS FIRE, AND IS FIRE, AND THE LAKE OF FIRE IS REAL, LITERAL, AND GOES ALONG WITH THE SPIRITUAL FIRES OF THE SOULS THAT MUST REMAIN THERE FOR EVER. This is why Christ warned us of it.

It is this knowledge of good and evil then that follows the REGENERATE SOUL WHEREVER HE GOES. He cannot get rid of it, for it is STILL WITHIN HIM. It is the EVIL FORCE AND PRESENCE OF SIN WITHIN. Christ did NOT obliterate the knowledge of good and evil at regeneration, for it only concerns the SPIRIT MAN, THE INNER MAN. This is why Paul said:

“I find then a law,

that, WHEN I WOULD DO GOOD,

EVIL IS PRESENT IN ME.

FOR I DELIGHT IN THE LAW OF GOD

AFTER THE INWARD MAN (REGENERATE SPIRIT MAN):

BUT I SEE ANOTHER LAW IN MY MEMBERS,

WARRING AGAINST THE LAW OF MY MIND,

AND BRINGING ME INTO CAPTIVITY

TO THE LAW OF SIN WHICH IS IN MY MEMBERS.

O WRETCHED MAN THAT I AM! WHO SHALL

DELIVER ME FROM THE

BODY OF THIS DEATH?

(Romans 7:21-24)

Many Christians think this is prior to regeneration. It is not, IT IS AFTER REGENERATION, AFTER THE SPIRIT MAN, THE INWARD MAN IS RAISED UP. Before regeneration, the inward man, the SPIRIT MAN, HATES GOD, AND HATES CHRIST WITH A PASSION. It is the work of the narrow way to bring DOWN the inner man to death, to DETHRONE HIM, REMOVE HIM, and allow Christ to sit upon the throne of the Holy of Holies. Only the REGENERATE INNER MAN delights in the AGAPE LOVE LAW OF THE SPIRIT.

The OLD MAN, the flesh, the carnal aspect, the conscious mind, soul and spirit, along with bodily desires, RISE UP AS AMALECK TO DO BATTLE. The knowledge of good and evil is still there, still present. WARFARE BEGINS IN EARNEST. The flesh wins always AT FIRST. It devours the poor believer. He wants to agape love, he delights in the law of agape love, but he finds EVIL WITHIN, WARRING AGAINST HIM/HER. The OLD MAN TAKES OVER FOR AWHILE WHILE THE BELIEVER ATTEMPTS TO FIGHT BACK IN THE FLESH. He cannot, he will lose every time. Chapter seven of Romans IS THE REGENERATED MAN, WHO DOES NOT YET REALIZE THAT IT IS CHRIST THAT PRESERVES HIM. Everything is “I” centered. The believer has not yet learned to TRUST CHRIST, TO TRUST GOD, TO LIFT HIS EYES TO THE HEAVENS. But then what does Paul say after the MISERABLE PERFORMANCE OF ROMANS SEVEN?

“I THANK GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

SO THEN WITH THE MIND I MYSELF SERVE THE LAW OF GOD

(AGAPE LOVE LAW);

BUT WITH THE FLESH THE LAW OF SIN.

THERE IS THEREFORE

NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THEM

WHICH ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO

WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH,

BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.”

(Romans 7:25, 8:1)

Romans Seven and Eight are the most misunderstood, misappropriated verses of all Scripture. The truth of it is simple. When agape love (the law of Christ, the commandment) comes, IT TAKES UP RESIDENCE WITHIN A VERY EVIL SOUL. Something very Holy comes into a very dark place. That Spirit of agape love must now BEGIN TO DO BATTLE WITH THE OLD MAN, THE OLD NATURE. That battle is IMMENSE, TERRIBLE. The Old man, the Old Nature, along with Satan and the demons, are very ANGRY AT BEING DETHRONED. They are like a lover SCORNED, and they IMMEDIATELY RISE UP TO DO BATTLE.

This is part of the purging process of God. Every evil part, every hidden sin, every secret desire, every secret want is SUDDENLY RAISED UP AND MANIFESTED IN THE BELIEVER. When you purify gold and silver, you heat it up and boil it. All of the impurities RISE TO THE SURFACE, AND THERE THEY CAN BE SCOOPED OFF. Because of the method employed by God, and because of the POWER OF SIN, the believer is OVERWHELMED BY IT. That is the CRY OF PAUL. Who shall deliver me from this body of DEATH!

But you see, Paul raises his eyes unto Him that called him out. He raises his eyes to the Lord Jesus Christ, and says ‘THERE IS THEREFORE’. The word therefore means essentially BECAUSE OF THE FOREGOING. BECAUSE OF WHAT I HAVE JUST WRITTEN ABOUT. Because of the WARFARE, there IS NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS. Paul is not referring to those who are in the Body of Christ, he is referring to those who HAVE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, TO THOSE IN WHICH CHRIST DWELLS. He is referring to OVERCOMERS, THE REGENERATE ONES:

“But YE ARE NOT IN THE FLESH,

BUT IN THE SPIRIT,

IF SO BE THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU.

NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT

THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST,

HE IS NONE OF HIS.”

(Romans 8:9)

Please read both of these verses carefully. IF WE WALK AFTER THE SPIRIT vs. IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU, THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, which we know is AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT. If you have walked the narrow way and found Christ, and accepted Christ, and ENTERED INTO THE NEW COVENANT, then you WALK IN THE SPIRIT OF AGAPE LOVE. It is the AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT OF GOD THE FATHER AND JESUS CHRIST THAT DWELLS IN YOU, AND CONTROLS YOU. There is therefore NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT. It is the Spirit that INDWELLS AND CONTROLS THE BELIEVER, AND PURGES THE BELIEVER.

“EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT BEARETH NOT FRUIT

HE TAKETH AWAY:

AND EVERY BRANCH THAT BEARETH FRUIT,

HE PURGETH IT, THAT IT MAY BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT.”

(John 15:2)

The fruit in this verse is the FRUIT OF REGENERATION, OF AGAPE LOVE BESTOWMENT. Every believer that comes to the point of REGENERATION had already undergone their own personal White Throne judgment. They are therefore REMOVED FROM CONDEMNATION. Because they are removed from condemnation, they ARE SECURE IN CHRIST. But there is a walk AFTER REGENERATION. It is first a walk of PURGING; SO THAT BELIEVER MAY PRODUCE MORE FRUIT FOR THE LORD. This verse confirms totally Paul’s statement that this is NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT OF CHRIST. Christ does not say God will purge it and if not successful destroy it, He says bluntly GOD WILL PURGE IT SO IT BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT. This is a statement of eternal security.

Paul, like Christ, is trying to tell the believer that is regenerated, that is an overcomer in TRUTH, that THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN UNION WITH CHRIST. Christ knows full well the NATURE OF THE BEAST. God in His wisdom elected to accomplish REDEMPTION in this manner, for reasons only He knows. Because of this WARFARE, THE BELIEVER IS GOING TO STUMBLE, FALL, SIN, AND BE OVERWHELMED. It does NOT affect his salvation, for Christ IS THE COVER FOR IT ALL. Christ will see the BELIEVER THROUGH THIS PURGING PROCESS. He will cover him throughout ALL OF IT, which is why He is our HIGH PRIEST IN HEAVEN, WHO EVER LIVETH TO MAKETH INTERCESSION FOR US. He is forever safe in the arms of Christ. The foregoing IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN. GOD FORBID. It is simply a statement of fact for what is going to come to the truly regenerated Christian who has deep sin embedded within.

It we are worthless to begin with, and carry our old nature all the way to the grave, regenerated or not, then of what GOOD can a believer do? NONE. Destitution is destitution. Christ said that without Him, we could do nothing. We ought not to clean it up by applying such words as holiness to it, or human weaknesses, or human frailties, ay any other bandage we put over our sin. SIN IS SIN. WE ARE BORN IN SIN; WE DIE IN SIN. That is why Christ died. HE SETTLED THE SIN QUESTION. It is no longer applicable, for another system has come in to replace it. IT IS THE NEW HEART COVENANT, GRANTED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. The obedience the Lord wants from you is not to clean up your act, and get right with God. You cannot clean up your act, and you cannot get right with God no matter what you do, EXCEPT walk the narrow way, and then HE CLEANS YOU UP VIA AGAPE LOVE COVERING.

He wants you to be OBEDIENT TO HIS COMMANDS TO WALK THE NARROW WAY TO DEATH SO HE CAN GIVE YOU LIFE. After He has brought agape love life to you, THEN HE HIMSELF WILL BEGIN THE PROCESS OF CLEANING UP YOUR LIFE. HE WILL BEGIN THE PURGING PROCESS, which is a process of BRINGING TO THE SURFACE ALL HIDDEN SIN, MAKING IT MANIFEST TO YOU, SO YOU CAN BEGIN TO DEAL WITH IT, RESIST IT, AND PURGE IT FROM YOUR SYSTEM. Sin is not the issue here, for IT IS A FOREDRAWN CONCLUSION YOU ARE A SINNER.

The issue here is NOT SIN, but WHY YOU SIN. The issue is not the EFFECT, but the CAUSE. The issue is not THE SURFACE MANIFESTATIONS, but the ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. Satan plays games with the human mind, and he is always trying to get people to focus ON THEIR SINS, RATHER THAN THE CAUSE. By this method HE SWEEPS MILLIONS INTO ETERNAL RUIN. We are by nature LEGALISTIC. We are by nature LAW KEEPERS. It starts when we are young, when we are told DON’T TOUCH, DON’T DO. Our entire worldly system is based upon KEEPING THIS LAW, KEEPING THAT LAW. If we keep all the laws, we are perceived as RIGHTEOUS, AS GOOD, AS RIGHT, AS MORAL, AS ETHICAL. What has that got to do with your inner heart, your inner nature?

The purpose of God with the New Covenant is to move you OUT OF LAW KEEPING, OUT OF WORKS OR RIGHTEOUSNESS, OUT OF THE GOOD DEED BAD DEED SYNDROME. It is a vortex of death; it leads to eternal ruin. God wants you to MOVE THROUGH THE NARROW WAY TO A NEW HEART WITHIN, SO THAT HE CAN CAUSE YOU TO KEEP THAT WHICH YOU CANNOT KEEP BECAUSE OF YOUR NATURE. He frees us from the SLAVERY OF ALL TYPES OF LAW KEEPING, CODE KEEPING, RULES, REGULATIONS. He frees us by PUTTING HIS OWN SPIRIT IN US, AND THAT SPIRIT CAUSES US TO KEEP ALL THE LAWS.

Either God is telling us the truth in Ezekiel 36 or He is not. Either HE KEEPS US, AND HE CAUSES US TO WALK IN HIS LAW, OR HE IS A LIAR. If He causes us TO KEEP THE LAW, KEEP HIS STATUTES, THEN HOW COULD YOU CONTINUALLY DWELL IN SIN? In point of fact, YOU CANNOT, BECAUSE GOD WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CONTINUALLY DWELL IN SIN. He will pull you out, He will PURGE YOU OF IT. Now if it is the VERY POWER OF GOD KEEPING US, then WHO HAS THE POWER TO REMOVE US FROM THE HANDS OF CHRIST OR GOD?

Is Satan more powerful than God? Are demons more powerful than God? Is there any force in the Universe more powerful than God? Are you more powerful than God? You know the answer. The point is this: IF IT IS THE POWER OF GOD THAT KEEPS US, THAT CAUSES US TO WALK IN HIS LAW OF AGAPE LOVE, AND COVERS OUR SINS WHEN WE SLIP OR MAKE A MISTAKE, THEN IT IS GOD WHO DOES THE KEEPING, THE PROTECTING, THE TEACHING, THE INSTRUCTING. Is God going to violate His own law? No. If we say that God cannot PREVENT A REGENERATED BELIEVER FROM CONTINUOUS SINNING, THEN WE HAVE SAID GOD CANNOT CAUSE THAT BELIEVER TO WALK IN HIS LAW, AND WE HAVE DENIED GOD. Either God can, or God cannot.

This is why this is STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE REGENERATED BELIEVER. John is very specific: ANYONE BORN OF GOD. This is true because the unregenerate person IS NOT BORN OF GOD, AND DOES NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD WITHIN. If the Spirit of God, which is agape love, is NOT within a believer, then obviously the POWER OF GOD TO KEEP THAT PERSON IS NOT PRESENT. They may CLAIM TO BE REGENERATED, but they are not, and thus DO NOT HAVE THE POWER, THE PROTECTION, THE KEEPING POWER OF GOD TO PRESERVE THEM FROM FALLING. That is why the many were sent away: THEY WERE SINNERS WITHOUT AGAPE LOVE PROTECTION. They did not have on the WHITE ROBES OF REGENERATION AND AGAPE LOVE.

If you understand the impact of God CAUSING THE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER TO WALK IN HIS LAW OF AGAPE LOVE, then you will understand this comment from Christ:

“MY SHEEP (THE REGENERATED ONES) HEAR MY VOICE,

AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME…”

(John 10:27)

The sheep Christ is referring to are THE TRUE BELIEVERS. They HEAR HIS VOICE, HE CALLS THEM BY NAME, HE LEADS THEM OUT, AND THEY “FOLLOW” HIM. It does not say they might follow him, or that they could follow him, or that perhaps they would. IT IS AN IMPERATIVE CONDITION because of the nature of agape love. THEY WILL FOLLOW HIM. These are the regenerated ones, the ones with a new agape love heart, which is WHY they follow Christ. The word “follow” here is ‘akoleutheo’, which means TO BE IN THE SAME WAY WITH, TO ACCOMPANY, TO FOLLOW. It means TO WALK WITH. They have walked with Christ through the narrow way. They have died with Christ at Calvary. They have gone beyond to the resurrection of NEW LIFE IN AGAPE LOVE.

“And I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE;

AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH,

NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND.

MY FATHER, WHICH GAVE THEM ME,

IS GREATER THAN ALL; AND NO MAN IS ABLE TO

PLUCK THEM

OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND.

I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE.

(John 10:28-29)

If ever there was a statement to prove the security of the believer who is REGENERATED, it is here. The “them” refers back to the SHEEP WHO CAME IN VIA THE DOOR. CHRIST IS THE DOOR. IF WE ENTER IN VIA CHRIST, THROUGH HIM, THROUGH HIS AGAPE LOVE, THEN WE HAVE ENTERED IN. We will take it apart and see what it really says. First of all Christ says HE GIVES THEM ETERNAL LIFE. The word “give” here is ‘didomi’, which we know means TO BESTOW, TO GIVE, TO BRING FORTH. What does Christ bestow? He claims ETERNAL LIFE. The word “eternal” is ‘ainonios’ which means PERPETUAL, FOR EVER, EVERLASTING. The opposite of eternal is TEMPORAL, OR TEMPORARY. I ask you a serious question: IS THERE SUCH A THING AS TEMPORARY ETERNAL LIFE? Are not the two concepts UTTER OPPOSITES? If something is temporary it IS NOT ETERNAL. The very meaning of eternal EXCLUDES UTTERLY TEMPORARY. THUS:

ETERNAL LIFE vs. TEMPORAL LIFE

The construction of the Greek is PRESENT TIME: “I GIVE THEM.” In other words, “I give them eternal life NOW.” Not later, RIGHT NOW. IT IS GRANTED TO THEM. It is granted at REGENERATION, FOR AGAPE LOVE IS ETERNAL. All human loves, all phileo love IS TEMPORAL. IT HAS NO ETERNAL VALUE. It serves a purpose here for the world, but it has no LASTING VALUE, FOR MAN IS NOT GOING TO LAST.

If God says He changes the heart of a believer by granting them ETERNAL AGAPE LOVE, and changes their NATURE, THEIR VERY ESSENCE OVER TO A LOVE THAT IS ETERNAL, THEN HAS HE NOT GRANTED TO THEM ETERNAL LIFE? Do they not have it INSTANTLY AT REGENERATION? Of course! God changes the VERY NATURE of a person. He is a NEW CREATION, BORN AGAIN, FROM THE HAND OF GOD. If he is a NEW CREATION, WITH AN ENTIRELY NEW NATURE, A NEW ESSENCE, THE ESSENCE OF ETERNAL AGAPE LOVE, THEN HOW CAN HE EVER PERISH? If this NEW LIFE IS ETERNAL, IT CANNOT PASS AWAY, NOR CAN THE BELIEVER UNDERGO THE JUDGMENT TO CONDEMNATION.

The very word eternal prohibits THE PASSING AWAY. There is no such thing as TEMPORAL ETERNAL LIFE. God does NOT grant ETERNAL LIFE, and then TAKE IT AWAY. There is no verse anywhere in Scripture that says that God takes away AGAPE LOVE AFTER HE HAS BESTOWED IT. HE DOES NOT PLAY GAMES, AND HE KNOWS THOSE THAT ARE HIS. If God did take “eternal” life away, then it was NOT eternal, was it? So then we must say that ETERNAL LIFE WAS NEVER GRANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE, THE BELIEVER NEVER CAME TO AGAPE LOVE, HE NEVER CAME TO REGENERATION. The very nature of AGAPE LOVE prohibits it from being temporal. It is eternal, everlasting. It will be proven out as we go.

Next Christ says “and they SHALL NEVER PERISH.” The true sheep, the regenerated sheep, who came in via the ‘door’, which is Christ, SHALL NEVER PERISH. That is a pretty blunt statement. How does one get around it? In point of fact, you cannot get around it. You can only claim that Christ did not mean what He said. You can only claim in your OPINION it does not mean what it says. THE WORDS ARE THERE. The word for “never” is ‘ou me’, which is a DOUBLE NEGATIVE, WHICH STRENGTHENS THE DENIAL. It means NOT AT ALL, NOT ANY MORE, BY NO MEANS WHATEVER, NEVER CAN, IN NO CASE WHATEVER CAN. In other words IT IS NOT EVEN A REMOTE POSSIBILITY. It simply CANNOT HAPPEN. It is beyond the realm of all possibility. Is that SECURE?

Why is it so secure, Jesus? “Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Jesus is probing deeper, trying to tell us something of the nature of God. The word “neither” comes form three basic words, ‘ou’; ‘ouk’ and ‘ouch’, which means NAY, NEVER, NO, NEITHER CAN. In other words IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. The word man was added by the translators, it should not be there. It should read NO ONE, NO THING, NOTHING CAN. In other words, THERE IS NO POWER ON EARTH, OR IN THE UNIVERSE THAT CAN REMOVE THE BELIEVER FROM THE HAND OF CHRIST! It is simply NOT POSSIBLE. The word “pluck” is ‘harpazo’, which means TO SEIZE, TO CATCH, TO PULL AWAY, TO TAKE AWAY. The word “hand” is ‘cheer’, and it means POWER, MEANS OF INSTRUMENT. In other words, NO POWER IN THE UNIVERSE IS ABLE TO SEIZE OR TAKE AWAY THE REGENERATED BELIEVER. He is as secure in Christ as GOD IS SECURE. Why Jesus? Why is this so?

“My Father, which gave them me, IS GREATER THAN ALL.” It was God who gave to Christ the BELIEVER. It was God that DRAGGED THEM TO THE CROSS. God “drags” the believer to Christ, via the narrow way, WHICH IS THE POWER OF GOD, THE POWER OF THE CROSS. God then GAVE CHRIST the believer. Now both God and Christ are in this all the way up to their chins. They have both acted in concert, in unison, as ONE. God the Father IS THE GREATEST OF ALL. He is IT. HE IS THE BIG ONE, NUMBER UNO, THE ALMIGHTY. The word “greater” is ‘meizon’, which means LARGER MORE POWERFUL. The word “all” here is ‘pas’ which as you know mean EVERY, ALL, EACH, ONE. Therefore the POWER OF GOD IS GREATER THAN ANY OTHER CREATED FORCE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.

If the power of God is greater than ANY OTHER POWER IN THE UNIVERSE, then who can be opposed? Who then can DENY IT? Who is able to ANNUL THE DECREE? Satan? Demons? They are merely created beings. They have no power whatever because Christ destroyed Satan’s power. Man? Man is merely a puff of smoke; he has no power. The believer himself? He is placed in neutral, for GOD CAUSES THE BELIEVER TO WALK IN HIS LAW OF AGAPE LOVE! When a believer meets Christ, there is a transaction. THE INNER WILL ACCEPTS CHRIST, AND THEREFORE GIVES OVER HIS WILL TO JESUS. Everyone, and everything IS EXCLUDED. NOTHING, NO POWER, NOT ANY THING WHATSOEVER CAN REMOVE THE BELIEVER FROM THE POWER OF CHRIST, FROM HIS HEART. It is a BOND ETERNAL VIA THE AGAPE LOVE SPIRIT.

That is the power of grace. Grace means what it says, UNMERITED FAVOR. If the favor is unmerited, then the object of the grace HAS NO MERIT. If he/she has no merit, THEN HOW COULD ONE LOSE WHAT WAS GRANTED OUT OF GRACE? He has no merit in the first place, for it is not based upon works, but upon AGAPE LOVE, WHICH IS ETERNAL.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you,

HE THAT HEARETH MY WORD,

AND BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT SENT ME,

HATH EVERLASTING LIFE,

AND SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION;

BUT IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE.”

(John 5:24)

We have already proved that the term “verily, verily” means to us, LISTEN UP. It is a double affirmation of something very important, very trustworthy. We have proved that the term “believeth” has been QUALIFIED ELSE WHERE, AND MEANS REGENERATIVE BELIEF, BELIEF FROM THE INNER HEART. In other words, it is LIMITED TO THE REGENERATED ONLY, for unless one has been obedient and walks the narrow way THEY CANNOT BELIEVE FROM THEIR HEART OF HEARTS, IT IS STILL IN TOTAL REBELLION. The word “believeth” means TO COMMIT TO, TO TRUST. How can one COMMIT TO CHRIST, COMMIT TO AGAPE LOVE, COMMIT TO THE NEW COVENANT, UNTIL ONE HAS COME TO THE REVELATION? Until one has died on the narrow way? Until one has gone to the LOWEST ROOM?

That one, the one who is REGENERATED, AND BELIEVES FROM THE INNER HEART, FROM THE SPIRIT MAN, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. The term “hath” is ‘echo’, which means POSSESSION, ABILITY, CONDITION. It is something ALREADY IN POSSESSION, ALREADY A CONDITION OF THAT BELEIVER. The word for “everlasting” is ‘aionios’, which means ETERNAL LIFE, PERPETUAL, FOR EVER, WITHOUT END.

If this believer HAS ALREADY ETERNAL LIFE, then Jesus says, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO COME INTO CONDEMNATION. They SHALL NOT come into judgment. The word “not” is ‘ouch’, which means NEVER CAN, NO, CANNOT, NEITHER CAN, IS NOT ABLE. In other words, it is NOT POSSIBLE. The word “come” is ‘erchomai’, which means TO COME TO, TO APPEAR, TO ARRIVE AT. The believer CANNOT APPEAR BEFORE THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.

The reason they cannot come before the Great White Throne judgment is BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN THERE. The narrow way is a FORM OF THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. The believer on the narrow way is BROUGHT DOWN TO THE LOWEST ROOM, THE PIT OF DEATH, AND THERE IS JUDGED AGAINST THE AGAPE LOVE STANDARD OF THE LORD GOD. Because the believer did this WHILE YET ALIVE IN THE FLESH, then Christ is able to step forward and SAVE THAT BELIEVER FOR ALL ETERNITY. The Bible declares ONCE TO DIE, ONCE TO JUDGMENT. You cannot be tried for the same crime twice. The white stone of acquittal is given to EVERY OVERCOMER.

The overcomer, the regenerate one is then exempt. TOTALLY AND WHOLLY AND FOREVER EXEMPT. Why? Because they have passed from DEATH UNTO ETERNAL LIFE. The word “passed” is ‘metabaino’, which means TO CHANGE PLACE, TO DEPART FROM, TO REMOVE FROM. They are removed from their state of spiritual death, and they are granted, out of grace and mercy, ETERNAL LIFE.

You see, the issue was the agape love issue. There is no other issue between man and God. When this issue is settled, when this issue is faced by the INNER HEART, and settled with Christ, then the believer goes under the PERFECTION OF CHRIST, AND IS THEREFORE FOREVER EXEMPT. Jesus said no force whatsoever could take them OUT OF HIS HAND, OR HIS POWER OR PROTECTION. Agape love is THAT PROTECTION. That is why John said that WHEN WE AGAPE LOVE, WE ARE PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE. We have LIFE when agape love is bestowed. WE HAVE MOVED OUT OF CONDEMNATION FOR EVER AND EVER AND EVER. Can Christ be condemned? Is Christ going to the Great White Throne judgment? If He is not, then the believer who has Christ within, who has agape love within, IS NOT EITHER.

“All that the Father giveth me SHALL COME TO ME;

AND HIM THAT COMETH TO ME

I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT.”

(John 6:37)

The word “all” here is ‘pas’ which means EACH ONE, EVERY ONE, ALL, THE WHOLE. Every single one that the Father gives to Christ WILL COME. They SHALL COME. It is an imperative condition. The word “come” here is ‘helko’, which means TO ARRIVE AT, OR TO BE PRESENT, TO BE WITH. It confirms that the PRESENCE OF CHRIST IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. IT PROVES THAT MEETING CHRIST, SEEING CHRIST, AND THE REVELATION OF CHRIST ARE AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT. All who ARE CHRIST’S, SHALL ARRIVE AT, AND BE IN HIS PRESENCE. This is not a Second Advent verse; this is the arrival of Christ to the believer who has walked the narrow way. Christ is the holder of agape love, which is eternal life. Life is at the end of the narrow way. If you walk it, YOU WILL ARRIVE AT A POINT OF FINDING THE LIVING CHRIST.

When Christ is found, ETERNAL LIFE IS FOUND. When Christ is found, THE BELIEVER HAS COME TO CHRIST, AND CHRIST HAS COME TO THE BELIEVER. THE TWO MEET, THEY “SUP”, THEY COMMUNE. The New Covenant is revealed, the two come to agreement, UNION BECOMES A FACT. Christ then says that EACH ONE THAT COMES TO HIM, VIA THE NARROW WAY (THE ONLY WAY), HE WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT. The word “no wise” is ‘ou me’, which is a double negative, and as you know means NOT AT ALL, BY NO MEANS, NEVER, NEVER WILL, NOT EVER, NOT IN ANY WISE, IN NO WISE, OR NOT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Do you get the impact of that? There is no reason WHATSOEVER, NOTHING WHATEVER CAN HAPPEN, NO DEED CAN BE DONE, NOTHING WHATEVER, NO REASON WHATEVER CAN CAUSE THAT BELIEVER TO BE CAST OUT.

The word for “cast” is ‘ekballo’, which is TO EJECT, TO CAST FORTH, TO EXPEL, TO SEND AWAY. In other words CHRIST WILL NOT, CANNOT, NEVER CAN, EXPEL THAT BELIEVER. Union is union; security is security.

“And THIS IS THE FATHER’S WILL WHICH HATH SENT ME,

THAT OF ALL WHICH HE HATH GIVEN ME

I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING,

BUT SHOULD RAISE IT UP AGAIN AT THE LAST DAY.”

(John 6:39)

It is the Father’s will that Christ should LOSE NOTHING OF THAT WHICH THE FATHER has GIVEN to him. If it is the Father’s will that Christ should lose no one, and it is Christ’s will that He should lose no one, then we have double security system in operation. We have many words of Christ directly to prove that the believer IS SAFE in the hands of Christ. When you couple these verses together, it is quite blunt: THOSE THAT COME TO CHRIST IN TRUTH, THOSE THAT SEEK THE LORD IN TRUTH, ONCE THEY HAVE FOUND HIM, AND ACCEPTED HIM, ARE SECURE IN THE LORD. The “many” Christians were told they had eternal security, but they never found Christ, they never had union, they had no protection. They had not walked the narrow way of the Great White Throne judgment, so now they must appear before it at the end of time.

“HE THAT OVERCOMETH,

THE SAME SHALL BE CLOTHED IN WHITE RAIMENT;

AND I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME

OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE,

BUT I WILL CONFESS HIS NAME

BEFORE MY FATHER, AND BEFORE HIS ANGELS.”

(Revelation 3:5)

The OVERCOMER ONLY, the REGENERATED ONLY, shall be clothed in WHITE RAIMENT. The word for “white” is ‘leukus’ which means LIGHT. Agape love is LIGHT. It is the LIGHT OF LIFE. The overcomer is CLOAKED WITH THE LIGHT OF AGAPE LOVE, IT IS THE ROBE OF CHRIST. The word “raiment” is ‘himation’, which means GARMENT, ROBE, CLOAK, VESTURE. Through the bestowment of agape love, the regenerated believer WEARS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST. Remember Christ is the MEDIATOR, THE ONE WHO PROTECTS. He clearly says “I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME.”

The word for “will not” is ‘ou me’, which is again a double negative. CHRIST WILL NOT, NOT AT ALL, IN NO WISE, NEVER WILL, NOT EVER, NOT FOR ANY REASON EVER BLOT OUT THE OVERCOMER’S NAME. The word for “blot” is ‘exaleipho’, which means TO SEAM OUT, TO BLOT OUT, TO ERASE, TO WIPE AWAY. In other words, Christ is saying that the OVERCOMER, that is the REGENERATED ONES will NEVER EVER, NOT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, HAVE THEIR NAMES BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE. Christ will confess or acknowledge their names to the Father.

The reason this is all true is because the ONLY ISSUE IS THE AGAPE LOVE ISSUE. SETTLE THAT AND IT IS FOREVER SETTLED. You cannot be tried twice for the same crime. That is double jeopardy. Christ verifies it, God claims it is so. There is much more proof to prove it out to you.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear

WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCHES;

HE THAT OVERCOMETH SHALL NOT BE HURT OF THE

SECOND DEATH.”

(Revelation 2:11)

Read what it says. HE THAT OVERCOMES, HE THAT BECOMES REGENERATED, SHALL NOT BE HURT OF THE SECOND DEATH. The second death is the final ruin of all the unregenerate. It means in the Greek literal translation that THE REGENERATED WILL NOT AT ALL FOR ANY REASON BE HURT OF THE SECOND DEATH. It means what it says. The OVERCOMER, the regenerated ones DO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE. There are no conditions placed upon it whatsoever.

“HE THAT OVERCOMETH SHAL INHERIT ALL THINGS;

AND I WILL BE HIS GOD, AND HE SHALL BE MY SON.”

(Revelation 21:7)

Does it say that the OVERCOMER MIGHT INHERIT? COULD INHERIT? IF HE IS GOOD WILL INHERIT? MAY INHERIT? You see, agape love is UNCONDITIONAL, AND THE NATURE OF IT ITSELF IS WHAT MAKES THE BELIEVER SAFE IN CHRIST. The overcomer ONLY shall inherit all things through Christ Jesus. It is based upon the merits and the ability of Christ, not the believer. GRACE IS PURE GRACE. Christ is OUR HIGH PRIEST. He lives forever in the heavens, and is able to there DEAL WITH ANY SIN THE OVERCOMER MAY BECOME INVOLVED WITH. He makes intercession for that believer, which PRESERVES THAT BELIEVER TO LIFE ETERNAL. He will correct or rebuke a continuing sin in a believer, for the believer is moved from under the law of condemnation to a different form of control: THE INDWELLING OF AGAPE LOVE, AND DIVINE DISCIPLINE IF NECESSARY TO CORRECT, TO BRING A BELIEVER BACK ON COURSE.

“But THIS MAN (CHRIST), BECAUSE HE CONTINUETH EVER,

HATH AN UNCHANGEABLE PRIESTHOOD.

WHEREFORE HE IS ABLE TO

SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST THAT COME UNTO GOD

BY HIM, SEEING HE EVER LIVETH TO MAKE

INTERCESSION FOR THEM.”

(Hebrews 7:24-25)

If Christ is able to SAVE US TO THE UTTERMOST, then we might say that He is able to KEEP US, PROTECT US, PRESERVE US TO THE END. The cloak of agape love is indeed the most powerful force in the Universe. Wear it, and you shall never come into eternal ruin. That is why Jesus said for us to STRIVE TO ENTER, LABOR TO WALK. Eternal ruin is forever as well.

When Christ died, He took all sins PAST. That is effective today for every believer. When union is made, SINS PAST ARE FORGIVEN (Romans 3:25). What about sins in the present or the future? God has made a total provision for all of that through the bestowment of agape love. This applies only of course to the regenerated ones, the overcomers ONLY. The “many” did not in truth have a high priest in heaven, for Christ was never in them, never gave them agape love, never KNEW THEM. For the covercomer, the CLOAK OF AGAPE LOVE PROTECTS HIM, KEEPS HIM ON TRACK. If a believer wanders slightly off course, CHRIST WILL CORRECT, REBUKE, ADMONISH TO BRING THE BELIEVER BACK.

Whatever small sins the overcomer might make, Christ ever lives to make intercession for that believer. To the believer, even a small sin is grievous, even a thought that is wrong begins to cause problems. It is God’s method of PURGING AWAY THE DROSS, JUST AS GOLD AND SILVER ARE REFINED. It says that because CHRIST HIMSELF IS THE HIGH PRIEST, and the overcomer is protected UNDER CHRIST, then Christ is ABLE TO SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST. The word “uttermost” is ‘panteles’, which means FULL ENDED, IN ENTIRETY, ENTIRE, COMPLETE, WHOLLY. If your salvation is COMPLETE, TOTAL, AND NON-ENDING, THEN HOW CAN YOU LOSE IT ONCE YOU HAVE IT? Either Christ is able to save, and has the power to save, or He does not.

There is no in between here, for we are dealing with God, and with God you are dealing with WHITE OR BLACK, SIN OR HOLINESS, RIGHT OR WRONG, EITHER OR. We are dealing in absolutes. Either Christ CAN, or Christ CANNOT. Everything we have seen so far PROVES that Christ can, and will, and does protect the believer, which is why NO POWER IN THE UNIVERSE CAN REMOVE THE BELIEVER FROM CHRIST.

“ I am the LIVING BREAD

WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN:

IF ANY MAN EAT OF THIS BREAD,

HE SHALL LIVE FOR EVER…”

(John 6:51)

Jesus is blunt: EAT OF THIS BREAD, and live FOR EVER. The word “ever” is ‘aion’, which means PERPETUAL, ETERNAL, WITH NO END. Notice that there are no conditions placed upon it except one: EAT OF THIS BREAD. We know this means UNION WITH CHRIST, UNION WITH HIS INNER ESSENCE, EATING OF THE HIDDEN MANNA. It is promised to the OVERCOMER ONLY (Revelation 2:17). The hidden manna is agape love, and with the bestowment of it, the white stone of acquittal is given as well.

“FOR THE TRUTH’S SAKE (‘THE TRUTH’),

WHICH DWELLETH IN US,

AND SHALL BE WITH US FOR EVER.”

(2 John 1:2)

“The truth” is the truth that sets free, and is agape love. It “dwelleth” IN us, if we be OVERCOMERS AND REGENERATE ONES. The word “dwelleth” is ‘meno’, which as you know means ABIDE, CONTINUE, ENDURES, REMAINS. How long does it remain with us, John? FOR EVER. It is eternal, and it will remain with us ETERNALLY. Notice the condition: THE TRUTH MUST BE IN US. That only happens at revelation and bestowment. What does the Old Testament have to say about this:

“The MEEK SHALL EAT AND BE SATISFIED:

they shall praise the Lord THAT SEEK HIM:

YOUR HEART SHALL LIVE FOR EVER.”

(Psalm 22:26)

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life: and I WILL DWELL

IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOR EVER.

(Psalm 23:6)

“The Lord KNOWETH THE DAYS OF THE UPRIGHT:

and their INHERITANCE SHALL BE FOR EVER.”

(Psalm 37:18)

“FOR THE LORD LOVETH JUDGMENT,

and FORSAKETH NOT his saints;

THEY ARE PRESERVED FOR EVER:

BUT THE SEED OF THE WICKED SHALL BE CUT OFF.”

(Psalm 37:28)

The word for “ever” is ‘owlam’ which means ETERNITY, PERPETUITY, WITHOUT END. The word for “forsaketh” is ‘azab’, which means TO LOOSE OR RELINQUISH. God says HE WILL NOT LET THEM LOOSE, HE WILL NOT RELINQUISH HIS HOLD AND PROTECTION OVER THEM. THEY ARE HIS, AN HOLY PRIESTHOOD. They are to be preserved FOR EVER. If they are PRESERVED FOR EVER, DO THEY NOT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?

“THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM

(FROM THE INNER HEART)

SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.”

(John 3:15)

“MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM,

AND THEY FOLLOW ME:

AND I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE…”

(John 10:27-28)

“For the wages of sin is death;

but the GIFT OF GOD IS

ETERNAL LIFE

THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.”

(Romans 6:23)

“FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH,

LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE

(LAY HOLD OF AGAPE LOVE),

WHEREUNTO THOU ART ALSO CALLED,

AND HAST PROFESSED A GOOD PROFESSION

BEFORE MANY WITNESSES.”

(1 Timothy 6:12)

“And THIS IS THE PROMISE

THAT HE HATH PROMISED US,

EVEN ETERNAL LIFE.”

(1 John 2:25)

“AND THIS IS THE RECORD,

THAT GOD HATH GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE,

AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON.

HE THAT HATH THE SON HATH LIFE;

AND HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD

HATH NOT LIFE.”

(1 John 5:11-12)

If the OVERCOMER or the REGENERATE has eternal life then we could also say they have life eternal, or EVERLASTING LIFE.

“And EVERY ONE THAT HATH FORSAKEN HOUSES,

OR BRETHREN, OR SISTERS,

OR FATHER, OR MOTHER, OR WIFE, OR CHILDREN,

OR LANDS, FOR MY NAME’S SAKE,

SHALL RECEIVE AN HUNDREDFOLD, AND SHALL

INHERIT EVERLASTING LIFE.”

(Matthew 19:29)

“For GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,

THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,

THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM

SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.”

(John 3:16)

“HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON

HATH EVERLASTING LIFE:

AND HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT THE SON

SHALL NOT SEE LIFE; BUT THE WRATH OF GOD

ABIDETH ON HIM.”

(John 3:36)

Notice that the ONE WHO BELIEVES FROM THE INNER HEART HAS ALREADY COME INTO POSSESSION OF ETERNAL LIFE. It is a condition brought about by the NEW NATURE WITHIN, THE AGAPE LOVE NATURE.

“VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO YOU,

HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME HATH EVERLASTING LIFE.”

(John 6:47)

Can we refuse such a harmony of Scripture? There is no question whatsoever that THE REGENERATE BELIEVER, THE OVERCOMER, IS TOTALLY PROTECTED BY GOD FOR EVER. He/she has been removed from condemnation of the Great White Throne Judgment because they have already undergone it. They have been acquitted by the WORK OF CHRIST, THEY HAVE NOT FRUSTRATED THE GRACE OF GOD; they have not allowed THE GRACE OF GOD TO FAIL THEM. They are then FREE, UTTERLY, TOTALLY FREE. They are made free by the AGAPE LOVE OF CHRIST.
